Over the past few years, after completing the BSc Industrial Design, I have taken the opportunity to expand my academic journey with the MSc Industrial Design that I am about to complete, in addition to having already entered the professional world by working part-time as a UX Designer at design agency Fabrique. This journey has shaped my ideas for my future as a designer.
Where my vision entails around the relationship between technology and humans, I appreciate being at the intersection of innovation, design and technology, protecting human values. Here complexity arises but challenges can still be turned into opportunities. My education has given me methods, theories and skills, as well as a certain attitude, such as being critical and moving from sociality and morality, that I can apply in design fields such as Product, Industrial and UX Design.
Working at Fabrique and doing an internship at Scandinavian design agency Above, I came to the conclusion that working at an agency energizes me: a fast-paced environment, working in multidisciplinary teams with exposure to different industries. That is why I am glad that Fabrique has given me the opportunity to continue my journey within their company as a UX Designer. Here I can combine my social, analytical and creative skills in designing products and experiences. I believe my critical attitude and care for human values can flourish here, by being a discussion partner, being the link between all perspectives and driven by insights in human needs and values.
Fabrique is currently in development, having joined a collective of companies called Eidra, which includes Above, which is working holistically with different perspectives on major changes. I am happy to start my career within this interesting innovative collective.
