This design can stimulate older people with dementia to think of their younger years.
This design was made for older people with dementia. I want to take these people back to the 1970s to bring back memories. People with dementia first lose their short-term memory. In the end they will also forget memories from their past. This design can stimulate these people to think of their younger years and hopefully keep these memories longer.
I made a pattern with shapes and colors from the 1970s. People with dementia cannot stand too many stimuli so the pattern has a calm ambiance. There is also a button that they can turn. This will change some colors in the pattern and can also help to maintain fine motor skills.
